On July 7th (Monday), Daegu City will hold a 'job networking' event for 4 trainees of the 'Daegu AI School', including a visit to the headquarters of Microsoft Korea and a job fair with representatives of AI and IT companies.

This event supports the smart work work environment experience for trainees of the 'Daegu AI School', which is being promoted in collaboration with Microsoft Korea, and solves questions in the job preparation process through 'job networking' with AI company representatives and provides information on employment. It was designed to stimulate the desire and will to participate in education.

As the main schedule, 'Microsoft Korea Office Tour', 'AI Company Career Networking', 'Town Hall Meeting', etc. will be held, and representatives of leading AI/IT companies such as TestWorks, Infinex, Resoft, and BP Lab will participate. Briefing on the introduction and recruitment plan, and sharing with trainees the working conditions of AI/IT companies, know-how to prepare for employment, and practical tips after joining the company, the trainees will be encouraged to achieve employment.

In addition, trainees and instructors and mentors for each curriculum will participate together and have a time to share educational progress, impressions of participation in training, directions for improvement of training operation, and various opinions to prepare for future practice projects.

In the future, for two months (July-August), after undergoing a practice process to solve job-related project tasks in actual companies, generous support will be provided so that graduates can succeed in finding a job, such as holding an online career demo day from September and supporting AI job matching.

On the other hand, 'Daegu AI School' (www.aischoolkorea.org) is a project that supports young people to find employment in the companies they want through future technology education in line with the rapidly changing digital environment. Based on the 'AI School' created through the partnership between Simplons, it has been promoting since last year as a job creation program that was newly transformed to fit the Daegu area.

A total of 80 people, including 20 AI service developers training course and 100 AI product marketer training course, are participating for local youth who want to get a job in the digital industry. Focus on practical projects.

In addition, it is actively supporting not only job linking through various employment support programs such as IT-related companies and youth job matching day, online career demo day, and digital resume writing consulting, but also acquiring internationally recognized qualifications.
