In order to select the smart city start-up idea contest support target, we are announcing the following, so please apply for teams wishing to participate.
1. Grounds for business promotion
ㅇ 「Act on Smart City Creation and Industry Promotion, Etc.」, Enforcement Decree and Enforcement Rules of the Act
ㅇ “Regulations on the operation, etc. of the smart city national pilot smart city master planner”, etc.
2. Contents of application
ㅇ Project name: Smart city startup idea contest in 2022
ㅇ Contents of support: To solve or improve urban problems such as social, welfare, and safety, support for idea advancement, prototype production, startup and commercialization costs, etc. for smart city ideas that incorporate digital technologies (IoT, big data, AI, drones, etc.)
ㅇ Support scale: 10 winning entries (1 million won each for 5 teams with 5st prize, 2 million won for 5 teams with 3nd prize)
※ MOLIT support projects are excluded, and the number and amount of support projects may be adjusted according to the evaluation results.
3. Eligibility
ㅇ Eligibility: Prospective entrepreneurs in the smart city field (individual or team of 5 or less)
※ Anyone can participate freely, but the reason and role of each team member must be clear (duplicate participation of other teams is not allowed).
4. Application Submission
ㅇ Competition period: '22. 8. 8. (Mon) ~ 9.2. (Fri), 4 weeks
ㅇ Application Period: Anytime within the competition period
ㅇ How to apply: Submit an idea summary including idea principles and concepts according to the application form

5. Selection procedure and method
ㅇ Selection procedure: Application submission → Selection screening → Conclusion of an agreement and payment of support → Support for start-up and startup programs
ㅇ Judgment method: Judging according to the screening procedure and method listed in the competition guide
6. Notice
ㅇ Expenses related to the project application are the responsibility of the applicant, and submitted documents will not be returned.
ㅇ The Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement (KAIA) may request additional data if necessary, and the applicant must actively cooperate with it.
ㅇ After the announcement of the examination result, if it is confirmed that the applicant has been selected in an unlawful way, such as falsifying, falsifying, or falsely filling out all or part of the submitted documents, the selection may be cancelled.
ㅇ All disadvantages caused by omissions or omissions in the submitted documents or inability to contact the applicant are considered to be the responsibility of the applicant.
