The 2022 United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) General Assembly will be held at the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) from October 10 to 14.

Daejeon City is in the midst of final preparations to set up a forum for dialogue among local governments around the world 10 days before the opening. According to the organizing committee, 40 cities from 112 countries, including 390 domestic cities, have applied for participation so far. About 2400 people are expected to attend the general meeting. If this trend continues, the original target of 3 cities is expected to complete the application for participation by October 500, the registration deadline.
