Ulsan City, selected for 'Digital Logistics Service Demonstration Support Project'

Secured 3 million won from the government, invested a total of 6 million won

Establishment of 'Smart Operation Information Provision System Customized for Logistics Vehicles' in earnest

Ulsan City announced that it was selected for the '2023 Digital Logistics Service Demonstration Support Project' to implement a digital-based urban logistics system promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport and secured 3 million won from the government

The total project cost of 'Digital Logistics Service Demonstration Support Project' is 6 million won (3 million won from the government, 3 million won from the city), and will start in July and be completed in June next year.

The main business content is the establishment of a 'smart operation information provision system tailored to logistics vehicles'.

This system will be built by utilizing the next-generation intelligent transportation system (real-time signal information, traffic information, unexpected information, etc.) that has been built with three roads (Seoupro, Autovalley, and Yeompo-ro) that have a lot of cargo traffic as demonstration targets.

Ulsan City expects that once such a system is established, it will significantly strengthen the competitiveness of the local logistics industry by reducing logistics costs, reducing carbon emissions, and preventing accidents.
